Why different underwater pool lighting the CRI is different? There's 4 factors affect the color rendering index:
1)Light source spectrum:
High color rendering index of continuous spectrum (such as incandescent lamp), low CRI of non-continuous spectrum (such as LED lamp)
2)LED chips quality:
high-quality LED chips with a more complete spectrum and the CRI will be higher
3)Phosphor coating:
The quality and proportion of phosphor affect the spectral distribution, and it will affect the CRI.
4) Manufacturing technique:
Advanced processes can optimize spectral output and improve the LED CRI.
What's the different color rendering index range application?
CRI 100: The light source can completely restore the color of the object, such as natural light.
CRI ＞90: Applied to places with high requirements for color reproduction, such as art galleries or studios.
CRI 80- 90: Applied to general household and commercial lighting including ideas for pool lighting.
CRI ＜80: Applied to places where color reproduction is not required, such as road lighting.
